Hakan has been working as a professional make-up artist for over 20 years, taking his part in feature films, commercials, fashion magazines, fashion shows, music videos, fashion campaigns not to mention the work he has done with leading cosmetics brands.

Hakan frequently works with top local photographers on the top fashion jobs to produce outstanding campaigns for local brands such as Beymen, Vakko, Zeki Triko, Ay Yildiz, Yargici, Boyner, Ipekyol, Damat Tween to mention but a few.

He is also a very frequent contributor to internationally acclaimed magazines as well as some local magazines such as Elle, Harpers Bazaar, Madame Figaro, Marie Claire, Instyle, Cosmopolitan and many others, with special beauty shoots, make up tips and creative make-up for their editorials.

Hakan frequently takes center stage on special events and seminars held by brands such as Shiseido, Lancaster, Estee Lauder, Max Factor, Maybelline to give professional advice and tips, and to help train personnel for these brands.

Hakan has worked as head-make-up, bringing in his crew and supervising the make-up for the biggest fashion shows in Turkey for the biggest names in fashion: Escada, Stefanel,Just Cavalli, Mango, Banana Republic amongst many local haute couture designers..He has also worked the New York Fashion Week and the Dusseldorf CPD Fashion Fair.

Among many prizes he has won during his career, Hakan is proud to have taken home the P&G Make-up Professional of the Year prize two years in a row.
